Sandy nitrile has a textured surface that channels oil away from the contact patch, so grip holds up where a smooth coating would slip. That makes the EMG748 the right choice for metal fabrication and vehicle work where components arrive coated in cutting fluid. Cut level D at 13 gauge keeps the glove medium-weight rather than stiff.
